Guy had his mommy call me to complain......this world is so screwed up, bless his heart.
I cannot imagine my son making a purchase and him having me call to fix things.
This shotgun had no charging handle.....the bolt had tension on it and we were able to get the chamber open so we could check the bore, but looking it over the charging handle seemed to be the only thing missing.
This guy sent an email saying we packed the box improperly....the barrel was lose.....the mag tube was cut.....there are springs missing.......and wanted a refund.
I know the barrel was NOT lose....we pack our boxes like they are going to be dropped from the plane over the sorting facilities, so packing was not an issue. Whatever springs he is talking about are a mystery and the tube was in tact, so who knows what that nonsense is his mommy was talking about?
Its a $140 shotgun that was sold "as is" with missing parts listed in the ad. I cannot imagine anyone thinking there is more to this thing than what it is.
Getting to speak to his mom was precious though.......I feel like a better mother today because I'm not "her"....thank goodness!

There's many more just like the two of them. Can't imagine how I'd feel about myself as a parent if I raised a young adult that needed mommy to clean up his messes! Glad you got a laugh to start the day Kasey...and thanks for sharing so we could laugh/cry too.
Thought you were decorating the Christmas tree.
I ammmmmmmmmm......I have thought about dealing with this thing every waking moment since I said I was going to do it. Its happening sometime today!!! (Hopefully)
Wow is the only word I can come up with !..... I wonder if she still cuts the crusts off his PB&J 😲
If Mommy has to handle his affairs, he doesn't qualify to own a firearm.
She called back....she was pretty nice this conversation, so I told her to just send it back and we would credit HER card back.....yes, it was HER card that was used to buy his gun. I am telling you guys....its strange times we are living in.
I hope it is in the same condition it was when you sent it. You have the patience of a saint because that's not the outcome most would have allowed. Bob
This is one of the top 10
I would have loved to tell them making a helicopter sound...du du du du du du... and when they asked... Your friggin Helicopter Parents... leave the boy alone.
Did you tell her to not let her little boy play with her cell phone any more without supervision 😉
No telling what he might try to buy next time
And I bet he has a nice little corner fixed up in her basement where he builds his model cars and looks at his Playboys.

When I read the title I was hoping this was about our (triple F feedback bidder). ;)
A Mama's Boy. He will still be down in Mommy's basement 20 years from now. A sick, a pathological situation.
LOL. This may qualify as a straw purchase.
Those things are deadly. Just ask my hamstring!
