Well..... Maybe if the mop had been attached to a maid you would have been o.k.😀 Bob
I will add any thing involving work is not a good idea
all in fun of course
I bought my wife a pair of new boots and a new ax but she was not to happy
I bought her a coffin and she has not used it yet
ya just cant please them some times LOL
I have found that after close to 48 years of marriage it is sometimes best to buy the wife nothing at all after a few bad gift choices have been made in the past!
I make my wife give me a list. last week I sat down and ordered all her goodies from Amazon. Some of them came the other day. Still waiting on the rest.
She wanted me to make a list, so I told her I'll just order what I want and you can pay for it. When you get older you work smarter rather than harder. 😉

I learned a very long time ago that no matter how nice or useful or expensive ........... appliances are never to be used as a "gift" for your wife and as asop has said they will NEVER forget it.
Odd because us men love to get tools and such as gifts and never complain.
I've been married 52 years, though it seems like 152. I gave up trying to buy her something that she would like decades ago. How many times does a guy have to hear "this sucks"? I finally just would give her a bunch of cash and told her to get anything she wanted. No complaints since the '90's.

got mine a new toilet one year, left it on front porch with big red ribbon for the neighbors to see, and I am still alive!!!!!!
Cash every year.
hillbille, giving your Mrs. an indoor privy as opposed to the old outhouse should be a very satisfactory gift! 🙂
