Limited movement still yet with one arm has impacted my decorating skills. I'm calling it complete for the moment.

"Did you get the lights put up?!"
"Yes dear"
I'd like to wring the neck of the guy that invented icicle lights.
Us Southern folks only put up our Christmas lights once. Unless we move to a new house.
Complements of the Season ! 🤣😆
Susie, My wife usually puts a big red bow tie on our deer heads . Lately, she has lost the Christmas spirit. We buried her mom and dad last month and her heart just isn't in the holiday mood. I totally understand.
Death has a way of killing the holidays ... my Dad 11-21-74, my sister 12-2-21.
Remember what Christmas means to you and keep as best you can ... even in silence.
Merry Christmas, Oak !
Sorry for your family's losses Oakie...Holidays bring out a lot of memories both good and difficult ones.. I hope you and yours can focus on the good ones.
Thank you and thank you George. We both have God in our lives and in our hearts. WE will celebrate the life of Jesus, and the lives of her parents. Her parents will live on through us, and the blessing of our Lord, Jesus Christ I didn't mean to ruin Susie's post and for that I am truly sorry and apologize. May you all have a wonderful holiday and keep posting pictures of your lights, trees and Menorah's. I'm going to decorate by myself tomorrow and smoke a nice cuban, in remembrance of my Father in law. Oakie
I put this one up every year.
Didn't ruin my post at all. A good reminder of the reason for the season. My Dad passed away December 7, 2002 and my Mom passed away December 13, 2006. I know how hard it is to get into the decorating spirit after a loss during the holidays. They were never a church going couple yet they had a deep and abiding faith in Christ and had accepted him. I believe we will be reunited.
Merry Christmas to all.
