That is awesome. Totally loving it.
I got it from the Angry Minnow website. I can report that they are well made and the sizes run large (thank goodness.) They are a bit pricey, but totally worth the extra price for something unusual. (About $65)
You rich gun sellers get all the nice stuff.

Ohhhh yall!!!!
It was a lot of fun. A lot of their guests didn't show up because it was an outdoor wedding and the weather was horrible. It rained exactly as they asked everyone to be seated and stopped 15 minutes after the pastor told the crowd to make their way to the reception. I tried to keep telling them it was good luck to have rain on your wedding day and even though I was wet, I was having a fantastic time. One thing after another went wrong for this poor couple. The pastor they scheduled to do the ceremony didn't show up, but the notary that was there to do the paperwork said he could do it.....so he was using his phone for his speech, and it was raining so hard his phone was having problems because it was soaked.
The bride had a music selection to play at the reception, but her phone died.....so this is when it got interesting. WE took over the music...my aunt and myself hooked up our phones and started playing music. It livened things up for sure.
The caterer was 2 hours late....cars were stuck in a field where they had told people to park....but still, it was a lot of fun. Everyone had on cowboy boots, but only one cowboy hat. I was ready to see some legit country/western attire and it was not there. It wasn't supposed to be a super fancy event, but the parts that mattered went off wonderfully.
Sounds like one to remember, the no-shows missed out on a one of a kind moment in time.
The shirt - My wife tried her hand at that distressed/bleach dye thing a few years ago. I went to the website and looked around, found a shirt similar to yours that she would love. Now my wallet is $70 lighter, thanks, I think.
What would one expect from a cowboy themed wedding? I have found that anytime cows are involved things go sideways. Sounds like it was a hoot and you saved the day!
Did you also wear a BBQ gun?
Sure a few things didn't go as planned but think of all the fun you will have telling the story for years to come.
20 years from now the bride and groom will remember you and your aunt above probably all the other guests. You girls took some small lemon slices and made some fantastic lemonade!
Sounds like a blast!
Despite weather,, that was a great wedding
I thought about it! I didn't know how far I could take things and not make things awkward.....so, I left all the fancy stuff at home. 😊
Thats great! I have ordered a couple more shirts myself too. I got this one as a trial run because you never know how the sizes are going to go. I can attest that if you are a giant amazon sized lady with bodacious tatas the 3X will button just fine.
I've never tried to distress anything myself with bleach, but my daughter has. She said the video she watched said to dilute the bleach by at least 2 to 1 with water and rinse immediately....but the key was to then rinse the thing in vinegar to cancel the bleaching affect or it will continue to eat away at things even after you've rinsed it out. She never perfected it and a few of her things were full of holes when she was trying to make this happen.
Yeehaw!
