Here are 2 sites. Guns bought per state in 2021 and the population of each state. Americans bought 38.9 million guns in 2021. Just remember, not all were new as some of us are selling while prices are high.

Do a little math & see the ratio for your state. For example, in Virginia there was 1 gun bought for every 13.17 residents. In W. Va it was 1 gun for every 7.34 people.

If I read this correctly, ILLINOIS topped all states in sales....The land of the FOID card and strict gun control laws...Interesting

That is correct. And to point out how efficient they are in handling this increase, I renewed my concealed carry last January 28th. I’m still waiting on my new card to come. I am suppose to carry the paper work they gave me until the card arrives. Friend of mine got his card the other day after renewing his, took 18 months. As Usual unions dictate how things are run in this state. They use this Covid excuse for every thing. I figure they will solve the problem as usual by saying, if you pay us more money we could be more efficient.

Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain
