I've got two and they're the sweetest, gentlest dogs you can imagine. They do "sealhead" when they're worried they did something wrong, or are meeting a favorite adored human. They'll beat you to death with their wagging tails, while they do their goofy big grin.
I had mine out for a walk in the woods this afternoon, and there were lots of other people walking their dogs too. Mine would perk up before I could see the others, so when they came into view I'd step off the trail into the snow and make mine come sit at my feet. Just snap the fingers and point, they know exactly what that means. The people would walk by while mine were smiling at them, and each one wished their dogs would listen and obey like that.
It's astonishing how many people are scared to death of Pits, then once they meet a good one, they just can't believe how GOOD these dogs are. I tell folks that I'm making mine good ambassadors for the breed, and sometimes that breaks the ice. "Can I pet them?" and I say "Sure, let them smell the back of your hand first" then they hesitantly touch those massive big heads, and mine do sealhead and give them a huge sloppy grin, and another friend is made.
I've never thought of a pink tutu though!
now thats funny
one of the past members in Tennessee Ken ( any one hear from him ? ) I am not sure he may have got banhammered any way he was a champion for pit bull dogs if any one bad mouthed them he was right ther to defend the breed and blame the owners he has one called buddy and swore what a great dog and companion he is
seemed like a nice enough fellow him and Ricci seemed to have a working relation ship on gun deals
he was army vet ? but tented to get into trouble on the forums by stepping over the line in arguments if I remember
Yes, I'm afraid the strain was more than he could bear.
😉
Brookwood, I doubt if other dogs made fun of him.
Is it a seal, or a pitbull?
