Looks like Mother had a TIA this evening. She's had them before, but this time she went unconscious and was incoherent when she came out of it.. She is in the hospital and at herself now, and will have a MRI in the morning.
I am believing and trusting that no damage will be found and she can go home in the afternoon.
If you pray, please put in a good word for her.

Not sure what a TIA is David, but prayers still sent.

Prayers from MO.....Peace and comfort for your mother and wisdom for those attending her...
I had TIA's for several months before I got smart enough to go to a hospital and find out what was going on. The cause was very high blood pressure, plus diabetes. My symptoms were losing control of my hands, arms, legs, and not being able to figure out how to do simple things. These issues would last for several seconds to several minutes, and when over I would feel normal. I spent many days in 3 different hospitals before they figured out what the cause was and how to treat it.
A transient ischemic attack (TIA) is a temporary period of symptoms similar to those of a stroke. A TIA usually lasts only a few minutes and doesn't cause permanent damage. Often called a ministroke, a transient ischemic attack may be a warning. About 1 in 3 people who has a transient ischemic attack will eventually have a stroke,
If they can find the cause and treat the issue, there is a very good chance she will go back to being normal rather quickly. The issues it causes can be very frightening if you don't know what is going on,
I hope she gets through it quickly.

TIA, Transient Ischemic Attack, or mini stroke. My wife has them too regularly, but when we go to the hospital (as advised) they pay little mind. Thank God they admitted your Mom.
We'll say a prayer for her David, and for the docs.
Nunn, don't let them rule out that she might need a pace maker. My father & 2 friends had similar symptoms & this was the answer.
I wish her the best.

I spoke with her today, and she sounds good, feels good, and says she's back to her old self. Probably going home today.
Thanks to all!
That's good news David. Hopefully they found the problem and corrected it.

Prayers for your mom, Nunn.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
