Enjoy this BFTP ! ... 😊
It's being willing. I found out early that most men, regardless of cause or need, aren't willing. They blink an eye or draw a breath before they pull the trigger. I won't. ~ J.B. Books

Are you trying to make me relive my youth and buy another killer stereo system.
There are much worse ways to spend your hard earned $$$
1967 - I was 12.
I was a whopping 10 years old in 1967 she was brown but I was green LOL
I have always been a fan of older rock and roll . a lot of political anti war music during that time
I am really a fan all the 60's and 70's music
another line that has stuck with me country joe and the fish I think it was
be the first mom on the block to have your son sent home in a box
We had really cool stuff in the 60s, like Whamo Superballs, and Mattell Thingmakers, and Vacu-Form machines. The lawyers from toy makers won't let them sell stuff like that anymore.
Oh YA! Just don't get the "goop" mixed up with your "Incredible Edible's" machine and your "Creepy Crawler' maker! 😁
After all these years, I have found I do not need a stereo anymore. I can just sit back and replay all the good oldies in my head. At times it is very hard to shut it down though.
In 1967 I was already discharged from the Army and back to my job at the Union Carbide research facility in Speedway, IN. Those were the days!
I ran across a very cool website, you put in the name of a group, and it maps other groups that are similar. It's helped me rediscover some VERY nice tunes. Try the 13th Floor Elevators and you'll be surprised what it comes up with.
In January of 67, I moved to Chicago to attend school for Auto Engineering. I went to school in the evening, and during the day I worked for Tingue Brown & Assoc. They were the world's largest textile manufacturer for Laundries.

On September the 3rd 1967 I purchased a '64 Comet. Looked just like this one except mine had chrome wheels instead of the Cragar mags.
Smitty-Had one called a "Cyclone".
My favorite was the 1965 Comet Caliente. I thought it the coolest car around...
I was in the 5th grade.
I was - 2 yo in 1967 (that is negative 2 yo).........lol
Glad i was born when I was.
1967, I thought I was a really cool 20 year old stud. It took me many years to figure out just how "uncool" I was. Kind of sad actually.
I was nine then....my life was my dog, baseball, archery and my stingray bike. I didn't really notice much going on around me in those days. It really was a tumultuous time in the World... Ah the innocence of youth.
Graduated in 66 at 17, just working and waiting for my draft notice to show up.
The year we moved to Alaska and I joined my first hockey team. All our practice was outdoors, and we had to shovel the ice so we could have practice. We thought Coach was being mean to us... now it makes sense.
I bought this in 67 , 1966 Fairlane GTA
I was only 8 in 67, but imho it was the best year for Ford Mustangs! I got one 8 years later.
Me too, and it did.

Going strictly from memory without internet help, I was old enough in 67 to remember Expo 67 the Worlds Fair in Canada that year. Montreal I think. Then there was the Pueblo Incident and another round with North Korea. The evening news was mostly coverage of the war in Vietnam. I watched Walter Cronkite mostly but also Huntly\Brinkley. I was 11 then
Now that is bad***
... and look what we have now Brookwood. 😕
67 was the final year of my youth. After that, it was adulthood.
Spent most of 67 in Chulai, VN. I drove a Jeep, a 6X6, and my CO's Ford Bronco a few times.
I was 10 and to concentrate on 1 cool toy, I remember the 6" rockets. Put in water and use the little pump. My recollection was they really went well. I been looking for years at the thrift store but no luck. I did find a broken one, at a relatives house in a wooded area while cleaning up doing some drywall repairs.
