got a lot of that around here, scrap metal collectors, even though they might make few hundred per load, they tear the crap outta their trucks/trailers loading and unloading the junk. but I guess they are working for a living, more than most folks these days..........
It looks like he is hauling ductwork from some industry he just looted.

You see that a lot around here, just way less since all the scrap prices are low and back during the Bummer era everything was scrapped. Folks even cleaned up the junk tossed over the banks.
Mostly 2 tyes of folks, those looking for dope money or diapers and food for their babies. At least around here.
Scrap prices aren't low here, $300.00/ton for #1 prepared.
Prepared?
Around 100.00 a ton here for shredable scrap metal and close to 2.00 a pound for copper.
