Well, after 18.5 years I finally made it to 5000. Comes out to around 270 posts a year.

You need a minimum of 500 points to reach 4 stars. I checked your profile and see that you have 393 points.
Understand that the number of years in the forum and post count are only two parts of the points puzzle. All of the silly badges, likes, LOL, and member level of daily participation in the forum are also factored in.
You needed to mail it to an admin!
@brier-49 add a photo to your profile, create a few polls, interact with others (like dropping their name as I did yours) and of course as @mark christian said above bribes can work! JK seriously though it doesn't take alot just participate. @Lock_Stock_and_Darryl was the fastest 4 star I've ever seen and he did all the above.
