I don't remember ever seeing a military rifle coming with a logbook.

seems odd but I know very little about log books on a rifle
at least they did not notch the stock for every kill Or maybe they did ( going too ) and just did not shoot any one LOL
That rifle seems to be quite a bit "better kept" than my 1952 Russian.
common about 15 years ago with yugo sks in crates
M-24s were issued with a log book same with SR-25's.
That is an SKS one of the most deadly accurate rifles ever made, I believe they fire pit bull teeth covered in COVID-19. Those extra sights are the ones set up to counter act the Earths rotation for long range shots, too bad you don't have the scope that can see into the future.
a book to keep track of how may logs you shoot? is that deadlier than killing leaves.......???
This is most dire.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit

And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche

Someone put a rubber butt pad on an SKS??

Clean rifle...looks unused
I assume it has been arsenal refinished although I see them listed as "unissued". It is a good looking SKS but if it were mine, I would want to take all that mess off the front end. I don't have any grenades and lighter is better.
Do you have a link to the auction? The one up above takes me to my own listings.

Purty one.
That's the one with the peanut butter spreader attached😲
When this model was originally imported, it was given Curio & Relic classification by ATF. I wouldn't think that the alterations would remove it from C&R status.
OTOH, removal of the grenade sight would definitely change that.
Between the heavy weight of the barrel & the factory installed recoil pad, it should be a great shooter.
