😯 500 Rnds Remington 22 Thunderbolt 22 LR 40 Grain Lead Round Nose $60 Ship - Rifle Ammunition at GunBroker.com : 926460345
Is .22 in short supply?
Yikes! Had me going for a minute until I read that it was 5000 rounds and not 500 like the heading said. Still with $60 shipping that makes Thunderduds 10¢ apiece. These are crazy times! Bob
I'm selling mine$
I am in the ball park of 30 to 40k rounds and no Thunder duds in the mix I really should sell it off and buy one box of centerfire ammo LOL
I thought the panic 22 lr buying was over
For the last month or so the local Wally worlds have had Winchester and Federal bulk ammo on the shelves. Lots of it…Academy Sports and Bass Pro also has CCI ammo as well as Winchester bulk packs…
I will bet that auction will not be completed !
Factor in the number of ftf's in that brand of ammo and it's considerably more than .10 a round.😒
In the words of Daffy Duck-
I'm rich. I'm wealthy. Yahoo. I'm comfortably well off.
Been buying CCI Standard Velocity for $4.99 a box directly from CCI for several months.
I quit buying 22 lr when it hit $165/5000 delivered. I don't even remember what year that was but I haven't run out so doesn't matter.
If you wait too long to jump in the boat, you miss and land in the wake.
I was just at Dunham's yesterday and they have a shelving section full of 22 ammo, including 22lr, 22 mag, 22 shot, and 22 shorts.
I really like the Aguila brand, so I bought a few of the 250 round boxes, along with some CCI shot for my Pop, also a couple boxes of 38 and my bill rang up under 75 bucks.
People are just plain lazy. That auction is great for GB, but also a shining example of an internet addict.
I'll have to check my local Dunhams tomorrow. Maybe prices have changed but a month ago they had very little and the other customer and I were laughing at the $50/500 for the 2 boxes of thunderduds on the shelf. I certainly don't need any, but out of curiosity check the prices and stock level when I am out and about. I could use a brick or so of 17HMR and they did have 4 boxes at $30 per box and I sure don't need them that bad. Bob
That's why I stop at Dunham's, I am usually checking on 17 HMR, and Mach 2. Nothing on the shelf in 17 to be found.
One of our local gun shops carries it at reasonable prices. Last time I bought some Mach 2, it was 9 bucks a box.
We like Dunham's because they always have great deals on something, yesterday we picked up some clearance sweatshirts for 50 percent off.
