This tech inept olde phart screwed up good.
Been waiting a week+ for a Canon 6D to arrive and right outta the gate I made a fool of m'self.
Tore into the box, mounted a lens and headed outside to shoot a few test shots to check function. Everything but the high end auto modes came out with a strong blue cast.
I tried everything, so I thought, to figure this out. After about an hour of pouring through the menus it finally dawned on me. Check the bleening White Balance. One would think after forty plus years of shooting film that would been the first thing to cross my mind.

Duh!
Hot damn. You got rid of the motion blur too.
Blue cast? That means you're taking photos in Alaska. EVERYTHING is blue here in winter.
Even one's lips....
I prefer the blue.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
We will call it asphalt cowboy's "Blue Period."
Ya, they're blue, but we ain't goin' inta that.
I used to have hundreds. The aurora when captured on Kodachrome 64 is stunning.
