at a rap concert. Could this be a trend?? It happened in Dallas at a Big Boogie performance. Have any of you attended a Big Boogie concert. He is from the Memphis, Tennessee area apparently.

Just before I retired one of the young guys at work ask what I was going to do on the weekend.I told him I was going to an Insane Clown Posse concert in Charlotte.I really had no idea what Insane Clown Posse was,but I saw it on a bumper sticker and my youngest son told me it was a head banger band.My name came up for a drug test next week at work.
I have said it before cRaping is a dangerous Job.
I have not attended a Big Boogie concert nor would I. In 1986 I did go to a Beastie Boys concert.......closest I ever got to rap.....I mean cRap
As I started reading this I thought maybe you were a dedicated Juggalo !!! 😜
"That is surprising!" said no one EVER.
Don't even know what Big Boogie is.
Only live performance I've ever been to was Chris LeDoux. Being a certifiable introvert, it really takes something worthwhile to get me to venture into a big crowd.
When my kids were younger one of my husband's friends from college posted a link saying some person was coming to town and they were thinking about going. I don't remember who it was, but it was definitely not anything I'd support in any way. One of my kids posted on the thread that they would LOVE to go to this show. I posted a reply to her comment....NO! That got the attention of the original poster and they started hounding me about letting my child go to this thing and how "you went to concerts when you were younger." I just ignored it. I'd let my kids go to any heavy metal....rock....pop....country.....whatever nonsense they wanted to, heck, I'd even pay for the tickets.....but no permission or money of mine will ever be given to a rapper. Not with the crowds they get or the agenda they push. HECK NO.
I've only ever been to one live concert. That was when the Beach Boys came to Dayton Ohio back in the late 60's.
Joe
was that at hara arena or UD ?
I only went to two concerts one was Lenord skinner and the other was Ted Nugent back in the mid 1970's
one was scary to say the least our group of family and friends were almost trampled we were pushed against the building so hard we could not breath it started raining and a warm up band ? started playing causing every one waiting out side to start shoving and pushing ( very scary moment ) lucky they opened up a crap load of doors just in time as my sister was about to pass out from not breathing the security stated pulling us and many more in to take away the crush thru the doors .it could have easy ended up like the concert in Cincinatti where fans were killed under the weight of the crowd
I remember the entire place smelled like pot and people standing in the hall ways selling what ever drug you could want
Here are your perps...............a couple of fine young men.
I'm sure they made a first time mistake..........poor lads.
It was at Hara Arena (I think, it was a long time ago). The strange part was that there were only about 100 people in the seats.
Joe
I think those fellas might need a ride to the 'train station'.
Nothing new here. Liberals and "give them a break". 🤨
I used to go to quite a few concerts back in the 60s and early 70s. The Four Seasons, Three Dog Night, Eagles, America to name a few that come to mine. I even went to see Charlie Rich. Hey, did you happen to see...
