Editing/changing E-mail or Password
I have had some members ask how to change their E-mail address or password in their profile. After doing some tune ups on the system I got word back from HQ.
To change your password or E-mail address, go to your auction side account and make any changes there. The info will carry over to the forums when you log in through the system -auction side.
Please remember that when you look at your profile on the forum side, it is only you that can see your e-mail address. It is not visible to others.
You can still make edits to your forum profile such as add/change avatar, signature line etc. here on the forums.

thank you
Hey Joe, thank you so much for looking into this. Much appreciated.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Thanks for that very useful information, Joe.
I have a question Joe, related to this. It has been many years (20) since I set up my auction side password. My user name there is different than my forum name as well.
I got a new forum password automatically back when the forums changed. I totally lost and forgot my old password for the auction side. Still have the one from the forums.
Is my new forum password the same one I would use to get into the auction side if I was ever to get logged off or bought a new computer (which I need)?
I just changed my email and the password data is on the same site.
I too had/have a different name and password between forum and auction side. The auction side is control. You need to know that password to log into the system. From there it matches info with the forum side, primarily your e-mail address.
If you're not sure of your auction side password, click on 'Forgot your password', edit and change to something new or ask support what your password is.
Thanks Joe!!
Im a computer nerd, Joe helped me and If i can do it anyone can.
