No ice - time to get the bass boat in the water!
Looks like about what we got here in Lapeer county yesterday. The high school skeet team practice yesterday afternoon was interesting to say the least! Now today it is 10° warmer and will be in the 60s by Thursday. I have so much yard work piling up, it is ridiculous and the way it looks it may not all get done til fall. Of course that will be just in time for the fall leaf clean up so this yard maintenance stuff is never ending. Ain't owning a home fun! Bob
I've still got about 10 acres of pasture that needs harrowed before puttin' the cows out on it. Trouble is that it's covered in 5 or 6 inches of snow and the cow plops that need broken up are frozen solid.
Sounds like it's gonna warm up this week and thaw out some. Whew!
Snow flurries here today. Sure glad I didn't turn the water on to the sprinkler system when we had those 2 sunny days a while back. I'd have 5 zone to try and blow back out.
Is 5 a good number of zones to have??
Welcome to spring in the South!! "Seasonal Rhinitis" (Hay Fever) has hit me like a ton of bricks. Trying all the OTC drugs available that won't kill me. My nose is pouring, eyes watering, sneezing fits, the whole shebang. Can't get in to see an allergist until June. We need to buy some Kleenex stock!!!!!
My seasonal sinus problems are also kicking butt. Every nite my head clogs up and I cannot breath thru my nose . When I get up I n the morning it clears up and I am fine till it gets dark .
That sounds a lot like my issues. Except I'm that way every day. As a bonus, my left sinus faucet won't turn off. It's gotten so bad I have 2 spitoons, one upstairs and one downstairs. I've been to an allergist and an ENT, and they can't find the issue, so I just suffer every day. At least I can suffer at home and not at a job.

I have the same problems and yes it sucks. Like you, if the medication said allergy on the front of the package, I've tried it. 50+ years ago my Doctor gave me a prescription for Actifed, and it worked. Fast forward and it became an OTC and still worked. Then came the meth heads who found out that Actifed or any drug that contains pseudoephedrine can be used to make illegal drugs and they were buying it in great quantities. Most allergy meds that had that ingredient were pulled from the market and the few that were left, hidden behind the pharmacy counter. For 20 years or so I tried everything else but a couple of years ago went back to using pseudoephedrine in the form of ClaritinD 12 hour pills. To buy them I have to give my I.D. to the pharmacist and wait while they get on the computer and check the government database for when I last bought them and if I am eligible to buy more. 30 pill supply only, and don't go back early cause they won't sell them to you. If the pills didn't work for me, I wouldn't put up with the hassles caused by the meth makers and the governments solution that obviously didn't help to control illegal drugs. Another example, like gun laws, where the only ones inconvenienced are the law abiding.
Oops! My suggestion to try the behind the counter, ClaritinD, turned into a rant. Sorry! I hope you find relief for those allergies. Bob
Thanks for the good wishes. Can't take the decongestants, kicks my blood pressure through the roof.
I take Benadryl, because of BP concerns. It works well. Check with your Dr. if it could be a viable choice .
