Nothing fancy, but it will do the job. I have used another Glock Field Knife for years and have been pretty rough on it. This one will ride on the side of my pack when I am out hiking, fishing or hunting..
WHAT's in your Pack ?

OR
Both have proven very durable. The Morakniv is super light, which is also very nice for a pack knife.
My favorite is a Craftsman (made by Schrade) skinner with a fake stag handle, given to me by my parents for my 21st birthday. I once lost it while returning from field dressing a deer. I retraced my route with a metal detector, but still didn't find it for a couple of months - none the worse for wear, though. Guess it was meant to be mine.
I see those GLOCK knives at a pretty decent price now and then. Does the handle provide a decent grip?
With my old one I have cleaned and skinned deer and filleted and prepared fish with it (not the best choice for a fillet knife)
Gloved and ungloved, I have been pleased with the ability to get a decent grip on it....
Really like that Mora. I have a couple of older ones that were my dads. I never had one of their high carbon steel blades but the laminated blades can be scary sharp and hold their edge well. Maybe I'll have to buy a new one instead of wearing out my keepsakes. Bob
The Mora costs $14.00 and change and the reviews are great.
Interesting....great price point. I will look into one !
I paid 38 bucks out the door for the Glock Field Knife. The first one I bought almost 15 years ago was 22.50
I have always wondered about those saw cutting blades. Please test it cutting some branches and dry wood and report your findings. My opinion is that the saw teeth would cut more efficiently if faced rearward.
They do a fine job opening up a whitetail's rib cage !
I have that Cold Steel SRK...........it's a great knife.
That seems like a lot of work when there is a sawzall handy! 😁
I have one like this that I keep handy. My wife has the shorter, standard blade version.
