I finally dropped the serious coin and got my https://neprostools.com/collections/3-8-sq/products/a000158
Heavy little booger. 90 gear teeth. Got a button to release the socket (I wasn't expecting that) and I think that's bad since I don't know if I can push the button in that tight space. Maybe I should have just gone with Snap On? But the 90 gear teeth just tempted me and clouded my mind.
I should just test it out on number 2 cylinder to ease my worry.

Cute little thingy
If your happy about it and it does save some skinned knuckles a little blood and time well
Good for you
I have more tools than I ever imagined and many specialty tools for cars I had over the years some will never be used again I will guess .
But when you Need it the cost will not even be thought about . some times to cover the cost I justify by just saying it cost xx amount or about xx minutes of shooting time if I shoot slow .. and at least I will still have the tools the ammo just a memory same with going to a garage ( if I went ) the labor cost to have any thing done would cover most all the tools I have ever bought 😲 and I have never taken any thing not under warranty to a garage
When I got married back in 1979 all the mechanic tools I owned fit into a small craftsman box about 18 inches long now no way I could guess how many tools I have it became a obsession will add if I had one then I had to buy a second some times a third one if one broke or lost I had a replacement on hand I think back I could do 99% of all the work out of that tiny tool box that still do with all the tools. then add in standard then along came metric seems never ending to the new tools that make it easier
That's a lot of coin for a ratchet handle.
Not much more than for a Snap-On. But I don't have to worry about the quality of the tool (sure ain't made in Taiwan). It did make me pause for several years to pony up the cash for it. Like it's been mentioned I won't be cursing too much to do the job because the tool will fit in the small place under the AC bits.
If I were still turning wrenches actively that would not be so bad . There are a bunch of specialty stuff out in the shop . I doubt that I will be rebuilding anymore ford big blocks anytime soon . Not sure what to do with the valve spring tools, cylinder hones ,ridge reamers, clutch alignment bars etc. None of my heirs ,son and son in law can identify them, let alone use them .
