Yes it is. Gosh, I am out though on bidding.
A whole bunch of really nice items. Wish I could afford beautiful works of art like many of those pieces!!
C'mon Walt, get out that shovel and start digging in your back yard, you'll find more buried jars.....
I haven't shot a 28 but found the 20 I shot interesting. Swung well, trigger decent and a lot of attention was shown in its fit and finish. However the sliding breech seemed like a solution in look of a problem. Probably because I have shot so many conventional break open guns the sliding breech was slow and awkward. The Darne is not exactly a rarity, but it is uncommon enough to draw a lot of attention when the owner pulls it out of its case. That is the great thing about shooting, there is always something different and interesting that shows up. Bob
Yea, and those jars will be filled with old air.
Interesting
I'll go ahead and say it for all of you---That darne thing is spendy! 😎
A friend and coworker told me about a shotgun his dad had many years ago it had the sliding breach never heard of such a thing skip ahead about 20 years his dad passed away and he got all the guns and that was about 15 years ago the one was a 20 GA Dane he took it to aoal gs just for questions a lot of hits but not one decent offer all way low as far as I know he still has it
