She is almost a year old now and has become quite the hunter and roamer. We usually see her early in the morning and evenings, the rest of the time she is in the nearby woods or our hayfield. She is smart enough to come home when the weather is bad and ends up in the basement or garage....
I went outside to put this a.m. and found this little gift.

My rescue, Max, is now roaming the fields and barn. I have yet to receive a "gift" or seen the fruits of his labors in the form of a carcass. I assume he is mousing on a regular basis. I'm hoping he will take care of the vole issue in the barn and the area around it. He hangs out with the goats. I need to get a picture of him running with them. Its a hoot watching him.
Jus t like my dog, Daisy. She slaughters moles and voles.
Our little DeeGee (dumpster girl) was fixed about 3 weeks ago so she will be joining the outside crew soon, (I hope) so far she has been out on back porch a few times for only a few minutes and the wind freaks her out, but she want's to go every time the little boy dog goes out.
Our cat, Stewart, brought in a LIVE rat one evening when my wife opened the door. I finally cornered it in a bedroom and used my pellet rifle on it. After that we checked him out before letting him in.
A couple of years later, ol' Stewart disappeared into the night, never to be seen again. I figure a bobcat or coyote did him in, I have seen both out here.
Our cat is very considerate with his gifts. He usually eats them and the parts he doesn’t eat he leaves in the shower.
....3 or 4 more William and you'd have a nice snack...😋
I also get gifts on our front porch. We have a groundhog that lives under the front porch. He thinks that the porch floor is his toilet.

I get moles this time of year, and they drive me crazy. Do you rent her out? Ha!
