Went to Krogers and got $.50 off per gallon. Paid $3.979 per gallon. Also picked up pills for my woman, hopefully, that will heal her up.

Paid $4.09 at the local Fred Meyer ($4.89 with $.80 discount). "Free" money at the pump helps, but I am more than tired of this stupid Bidenflation. Hope the meds knocked the stomach virus and the Mrs. is feeling better.
No more idling the engine when waiting for anything. Every drop counts. Went to the gas station to get fuel for the lawn tractor. Brother parks his rig at a house close by.
Saw that he had just pulled in from being on the road. Stopped to visit and to let him know I was in the process of mowing the family cemetary. Normally I would have sat there with the engine idling. Nope, I turned the truck off as soon as I got it I to park.
Not sure how much fuel is burned in a 15 minute idle. I'm sure though, that over the span of a tank of fuel, I might save a gallon. That's over $4 saved. Way things are looking, that $4 is very special. 😆 🤣
Wife's new Subaru has the auto engine shut off at stops. I thought that was the craziest thing ever, till recently.
I filled my F250 up with diesel the other day, $110. That's exactly what my monthly rent was when I first got married.
I'm betting that it was NOT on empty before you filled it up either! I just put $40 in my truck, not even half empty when I filled it up.(gas, not diesel)
4.099 for reg with 10% corn juice!
She is almost back to normal now, thanks for asking. 😉

My issue is, with my job I do not pay for fuel, diesel is at the shop, pull up and fill up the truck, no biggie. With 623,000 miles on the clock I don't pay attention to fuel prices. If I drive the Kia soul (32-36MPG) I pay for gas at the pump and get reimbursed for the cost.
My concern is what fuel will cost next march, maybe June when I retire and are forced to pay for gas/diesel from my Meigs county OH, red neck, SSI, dirt poor, with my own teeth; (an oddity here) live like a pauper "retirement" funds. Wall street is treating my meager, (or less retirement funds) like a used diaper these days.

4.90 UP again in Mt. Vernon, IL. Thanks Joey! Cornpop should have whipped up on you, clown.
Filled my Silverado up yesterday .................................... $92.00 ..................... OUCH !!!!!!!!!

A national gas station chain is reprogramming its pumps in Washington state to accommodate $10-a-gallon fuel, it has been revealed.
Paid $4.45 gallon at Costco yesterday evening. Cost $80 to fill half a tank in my work van.
My wife said she had gone by earlier in the day and it was $4.25 per gallon.
Gas at our local Meijer store was 452.9 this AM as I drove past. I was on half a tank and have no where else to drive for the next week or so. Will fill up when needed and hopefully the price will come down a tad by then.
Being optimistic can be frustrating these days!
Can't sell electric cars, if gas was affordable,,,,,,
put 74 gallons in pickup @ $5.04= $375 and 100 gallons of red farm fuel in work tank $4.66 = $ 466
can’t wait to what the damage is next Monday when I fill them again .
Mule
...Average $4.19 around here, east of Dallas...Gas $3.30-$3.50 down around the border and deep south Texas...
...When I get gas, I try to cheer myself up by thinking that the idiots that voted this certified idiot into office are paying the same absurd prices too...
....just cut out beer, whiskey, and kool-aid....Use that to fill your tank...Thats what Im doing....Freight from Texas plant to San Francisco, went from 23 cents a lb to .70 cents all in 8 weeks... ended my sales.. Boat want work either...plus cost is up 60%...
Plus one hundred! @austin20
Or like in California heading in to the yearly rolling black out.
From seeing gas prices in the rest of the country it still hasn't hit $5.00? So I guess the Apocalypse hasn't hit the rest of the country.
