Diesel was running $5.29 to $5.39. Suddenly this past Thursday it was $4.75 - $4.85 and is holding there tonight. Has it fallen in your area? Couple of places I saw tonight was still over $5,00 but I figure they bought a load before this past Thursday at prices they will lose a bunch if they match.

You are fortunate. Diesel in Pismo Beach was just lowered to $7.04. San Luis Obispo County (California) has the highest gasoline taxes in the country.
Truckers in our area would love to only pay a little over $5.00. Most places it is anywhere from $6.25 to $6.50 a gallon.
A Kwik-Trip just opened in our town. They had a grand opening sale going on diesel for $4.89 - I wasted no time going home and getting the truck. Normally in our town it's $5.44.

In my area its still over 6.00 a gallon. Went to a show up in the north east Pa an paid $6.29
Paid $4.94 two days ago.
I filled up Tuesday for $4.68 and then last night it was $4.59 at the same location in Paragould, Arkansas. 87 octane was $3.95.
Over five in Wis. Can for tractor was over $25
When it goes to 6.00 dollars a gallon in Texas and 7.00 to 9.00 elsewhere then that will be the straw that breaks the camel's back for the USA economy.Big Rig Electric trucks are coming with no drivers for Techno workers demand only in the future.
No one else will be able to afford private transportation anymore for pleasure only food products. Just Watch, they have a plan. Carbon foot printing for everything else will be taxed heavily. But not for highway & road building that is an extra Tax.
