Don't ban guns, Ban Hollywood
Why is Hollywood permitted to make movie after movie, TV program after program, all depicting killing after killing of multiple people using guns, often in full auto mode? Not one word is said about this in the government or in the media. Is everyone so stupid as to believe that young punks growing up watching this trash are not influenced by it all and want to go out and pretend to be some action hero by killing innocent people who are unable to defend themselves?
The 2nd Amendment guarantees the right of a citizen to bear arms, but it DOES NOT guarantee the right to depict the killing of people with guns as entertainment as a profit making motive!

Just give them a little bit of time. After they get rid of the 2nd Amendment, they will go after the 1st Amendment.
Hollywood elite DEMOCRATs believe the whole world revolves around them. The hypocrisy OP mentioned is typical.
What I find most irritable is media and DEMOCRATs try to sell their opinions and political ideology as mainstream and important when it is not.
When cornered, many use their political influence, wealth, and fame to avoid retribution and punishment.
Let's not forget all the mindlessly violent video games out there.
Yep, they're going after the 1st now.
Bingo
Hollywood should be permitted to anything they want. They should also be subject to lawsuits just as gun manufacturers are now being subjected to.
