Biden says gun control efforts are not about taking away anyone's guns?

More smoke and mirrors for we really know it's just a matter of time before they confiscate them and abolish the second amendment.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden said on Thursday that current gun control efforts are not about taking away anyone’s guns, noting that too many everyday places in America have become killing fields.

Speaking from the White House, the president said that nothing has been done after many mass shootings, but this time we must actually do something.

Because of the chance of elected officials losing the support/votes of their constituents the democrats have to be seen doing something to combat mass shootings. They will shoot for the moon and try to ban any and everything to cater to their voters emotional needs. The republicans will fight tooth and nail to be seen fighting these onerous democrat demands to placate their own voters. In the end there will be some restrictions put in place, both big enough to at least partly satisfy the left and small enough to not worry the right much. That way both sides can declare victory. I am betting on the raising of purchase age to 21 and some magazine manufacturing restrictions will be in the final proposals. Of course they could go back to the AWB of 94 that was proven to have absolutely no effect on crime. Politicians and voters have short memories and never learn from their past mistakes. After all look at who got elected president. Bob

How exactly does an assault weapon ban work.?

A ban means both sales of new ones along with old ones. It's politicians way of not alarming the die-hard's until the time is right. Cannot transfer any old ones after the ban however. Sounds much better than outright confiscation which would be like whopping a hornet's nest!

Reminder: That silly 2nd amendment is not absolute! After all it's not the same country anymore because all the tribes coming in from around the world that has diluted the majority European ethnicity and many are not as hard fast on rights as our Founding fathers where.

They think it's time for as change to gain peace and security for all forever more under a benevolent and fair constitutional government without that silly 2nd amendment. Kind'a like what they have in Red China ,Russia,Australia,New Zealand etc...

The "expectation" is not to really confiscate any guns; the political-left (i.e. the socialists) understand that tens of millions of Americans WON'T surrender their firearms; the gun owners understand the socialists are out to destroy individual freedom, and the socialists know that firearm owners know their goals. The socialists' primary goals right now are: to get a record of all firearm owners (they've made really good progress on that already), and then pass laws banning firearms where they EXPECT mass-NON-compliance. They see passing laws that their political opponents WON'T follow as being an extremely important tool for increasing their politcal power. With a stroke of pen, they are seeking to turn tens of millions of law-abiding citizens (ones who are opposed to their political goals) into "instant criminals."

Yep,FEMA trains going to reeducation camps with thousands of armed Federalized police to guard them is not Tin foil crazy reasoning anymore here in The USA. What you stated is how the Nazi's got all the firearms in Holland in WWII. The population starved later.

With the coming great reset (Monetary Collapse) and the new green deal (carbon usage tracking) then socialism in The NWO is the only alternative to have to make their vision reality in my opinion. That NWO has already been stated as a promise or goal of the Illuminati in 1770's and later reaffirmed by leaders in both political parties here in The USA.

President George Bush sr. along with President Joe Biden are two of the political leaders that have used this phrase.

If you want to be taken seriously in current political arguments, it's probably best to lay off that "Illuminati" stuff.

Yep in current conditions you may be right but I used to be an outcast here for conspiracy stuff which has been manifesting as getting real plausible now to some here at least.

    Don't worry, since you are going to refrain from mentioning "The Illuminati" here's 15 more societies you can blame for all of the worlds ills;

Seems to me that if they have been striving for a NWO for centuries, they need some new ideas because the world is more fragmented than it ever was. If there really are a bunch of NWO societies they will probably spend so much more time fighting each other than taking over the world. Bob

    Georgia Guidestones.

    https://crimereads.com/the-georgia-guidestones-americas-stonehenge-historys-unsolved-mystery/

No question, whoever built the Georgia Guidestones, they were determined to protect their anonymity. So to find out more about the mysterious R. C. Christian, we began by talking to Guidestone historian Raymond Wiley, coauthor of The Georgia Guidestones: America’s Most Mysterious Monument. According to Wiley, the pseudonym R. C. Christian is a clue itself—a fairly blatant one—that hearkens back to a 15-century physician and mystic named Christian Rosenkreutz, the idea of the Rose Cross, and the secretive organization known as the Rosicrucians.

Christian Rosenkreutz is said to have founded the secretive Rosicrucian Society in Germany in the early 15th century, but some dispute that the man even lived at all. Some people say he’s not even real. Others say he’s more than one person

All I can say is........in the past 2 years a LOT of conspiracy THEORIES have turned out to be simply CONSPIRACIES! Hard to rule anything out with this administration!

It's not a conspiracy when the black helicopter actually lands in your back yard!

    Just sayin'
