Much of Texas and New Mexico, with parts of Arizona, Nevada, and California, could record temperatures well above 100 degrees Fahrenheit today. Phoenix, Arizona, could be the hottest metro area, with expected highs around 115 degrees Fahrenheit.

Not sure what it has to do with "climate change". Those areas have seen these temps SEVERAL times throughout history. The real story is the power grid. It is OLD and outdated. They better fix it before they sell all their gas/diesel vehicles!

"The National Weather Service in Phoenix reported a temperature of 114 degrees Fahrenheit (46 degrees Celsius), tying the record high for the date set back in 1918."

Guess all the vehicle emissions caused the 114 degrees in 1918!!

Mike is right, this weather is not historically unheard of. The problem is the shortsighted greenie weenies not thinking ahead. Building limited reliability and capacity solar and wind power instead of natural gas power stations is just stupid. The population has increased to the point where the strain on the existing capacity is already a major problem. Having an open border and letting in millions that will be using power makes it even worse. Add in their desire to immediately transition to EV's without considering the capacity of the grid to charge them is just plain stupid as well. This is not a climate change problem, it is a stupid human generated problem. Emotion and feelings should have no bearing on our infrastructure or government, but sadly those are the dominating influences. Bob

Out of Chaos comes order! And The Debt crisis with hyperinflation was done by stupid politicians by both parties and if we had a balance budget with no debt,we could have solved our problems but no that is not what the oligarchical powers wanted. Climate change is just another crisis to take advantage of, for them.

They want a NWO with Total control of everything (all resources) with a carbon fingerprinting for all with a cashless society and sure looks like the chaos is coming soon while all the idiots on the Titanic (politicians) rearrange the deck chairs as it all sinks into the deep blue freezing sea.

The Federal Reserve is nothing but a ponzi scheme used by the money changers that gave We the people enough rope to hang ourselves. An elected republic with a pseudo Democracy is coming to an end soon, get ready for the dictator!

November elections will be the spark if I was betting on it.

South East is in for a hot week also. Just wondering how those charging stations are working out.

All inconsequential so long as we relieve ourselves of dependence on fossil fuels.

That has been their stated goal and it's full steam ahead. Electrically, of course.

  • serfserf Member Posts: 9,217 ✭✭✭✭

Yeah the only problem is Carbon emissions just go up with electrical creation !There is only one way to get over the hump and that is much less driving by all and soon with the depression coming hydrocarbons are set to skyrocket to tame their use and until they get that Hydrogen gas power and/or Hydrogen fusion,we all can ride a bicycle until then.

Before there was air conditioning and even harnessed electricity, we humans did survive.

Shade, umbrella's, and sombrero's still work and everyone knows that a siesta or long naps during the heat of the day are quite healthy!

Yeah and dropping dead before 65 was a big thing back then too! Living in 100 degree heat with high humidity will kill millions of old people fairly quickly in the coming energy climate change scenario. The devil is always in the details.

The housing crisis for renters is the first sign of the coming chaos and everybody wants A./C with it now.
