DFW area you had to have an Evacuation Card to leave town in the 70s in case of emergencies. To qualify you needed to be a relative of police , sheriff deputy, etc. I'm not aware of today's regs.

I don't like the color yellow for a car.
The sky is grey here and a yellow car went by slowly.
It's know as FWD on this side of the metroplex and it's hot and sunny, didn't see the yellow car... owles has competition...
I am starting to think owles keeps a spare computer in his bitlocker
Many are saying this.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Wounds my heart with a monotonous langour.
if I were any younger, my pacifier tasted like scotch when the babysitter left.......
I thought maybe it was something you needed to use a bathroom.
I lived just north of the D/FW area during the early 1970s. I had many friends in D/FW proper, and I traveled in and out of the area all the time. I never had, or saw, or heard of, an "evacuation card," until now.
WTH, over?
...Where did you read that crap??...Ive been in the DFW area all my life, and traveling in/out of DFW area all my life, and have never heard of an "Evacuation Card", total BS...
Switch meds?
I got me an evac card from the state of Oregone. It was issued to me by the Montana DMV!
That has to be one of the silliest posts on here in a long time. What would be the purpose of such nonsense?

You guys and gals have gone offtrack, there is a secret message in there so study closely, follow the script, now the sky is dark, very dark and the yellow car is a way's down the road with the backup lights on. 😰
I lived in Dallas in 1976-77, and there was no such thing as an Evacuation card then ( or now).
Beginning to think that lots of folks need a doctor visit to adjust their medications .
They were concerned about sabotage of munitions factories during Vietnam war. So marshal law and restricted evacuations were planned in case.
Planned maybe, implemented nope.
Who the heck are "they?"
Crap.
😁
"They" are the people that live in his head, only to be let out on rare occasions.
