The does and fawns are moving back and forth between my hunting patch and the hayfield on our place.
I always enjoy watching them. I need to get out there and check game cameras to see how the buck population is doing ! The beans will be up soon and that usually brings more around.

I finally got around to getting my game cam loaded with fresh batteries and a new SD card. Spooked a lady out of the small grove of trees not far from the house on my way to the camera.
So far I have gotten pics of two ladies, one baby, a spike, three baby bandits and their mama and a murder of crows. Flushed a turkey on my circuitous travel route home.
I'm hoping to get a glimpse of old one eye and his three antlers. Hoping he made it through the winter.
Do they eat up all your flowers and shrubs?
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Seeing lots of mommas and babies on my place everyday for the last couple of weeks, can't seem to get a good picture with phone though...
My cameras have been up and running since the end of last whitetail season. Hopefully a vine did not grow in front of it again like a few years ago....2700 nice pictures of a little vine swaying back and forth !!!! 🙄
Hoping to see a picture of the big 11point I have been chasing for a couple years.....
They do nibble my around my bride's flower gardens from time to time......mostly they wait until the corn is up and wipe out the first three rows around my hunting patch in the back of our place !!
This doe likes the shade under Mom's deck. (NO, that's not a black snake with her.)
Great Pic !!
They are always a joy to have around. Momma and one fawn were outside the living room window this morning when I got up. Judy was disappointed that she missed seeing them. Twenty minutes later I told her to come check out another doe and this one had twins. The twins looked to be a couple of weeks older than the earlier one and they bounced around the yard with youthful enthusiasm for about 10 minutes before following mom toward the corn field. Yesterday morning it was momma raccoon and 5 youngsters under the mulberry tree getting some berries. Living in a rural setting can be entertaining.😊 Bob
The abundance of wildlife we see every day is amazing. I don't think I could ever go back to city life again.

My bride and I have had that discussion....living in the sticks is a great thing.
