Messed up my already bad knee a few weeks ago and have been doing the shots, rehab, big brace and lots of sitting around icing etc. So last night for the first time in a good while, the weather was decent and I was moving pretty good. Headed out and shot some pics of the place.....
Country living these last 8+ years have been great !!! My bride's flowers are all doing well...the beans and corn and doing fine and we are in the middle of getting the hay cut !
Post a pic or two of your views if you are so inclined !!!

It must have been really dark.
Yeah, I was having a few issues loading pics !!!
Martha looks like she is really chilling.
Fantastic pictures of serenity. Martha looks as if she's living her best life.
As usual, great pics. Thanks for sharing.
I'll echo others, Martha looks to be a fairly content kitty.
Had a new lens acquisition out the other day, and am working on micro-adjusting the focus. Still haven't nailed it down yet.
While Mr. Mouse looks fairly sharp,
I'm having trouble finding focus point on the grass.
thanks very nice
you have a nice looking place / farm and obvious you keep it up very well
"Day Lilies" they're sorta like pretty weeds!
Yes they grow all over around here....My Bride's great grandmother had them growing way back on our place so we just keep with the tradition..
only thing you need is a few "hills" to break up the horizon............
Very talented! You take great pics. Your place looks so peaceful.
Our place is fairly flat compared to all around us. If you drive a few miles in any direction the views change to more hills and hollers. The Missouri river is only about 6 miles as the crow flies from us.
Very nice and impressive. A century farm... I grew up on a 168 acre farm in S.W. Missouri, we didn't have it nearly as long. While in many ways I am thankful I don't do that anymore, I am very thankful I grew up that way. Even though I had to go into easier (on the body) career after I blew out my back 25+ years ago, the troubleshooting mindset I gained from being a relatively poor farm kid, has made me excel in I.T.
