🙂🙂
Put a large plastic container to catch the water coming off the AC drain, Tons of birds have already located it.
It's not the heat, it is the humidity.😆 25% here at 95 and the black chins are still buzzing.
Well folks.......at about 15 miles south of the Red River.......right now.......it's 108 degrees F.
The bad part.........is......there's about two months more of it to go.
I've been told.....this ain't a desert!!! Hard to believe sometimes.
Yep and my dam well stopped working today, but 5 hours latter we got water again, say frosty my neighbor, Texas is being mean this year.
Was it the pump or starter/controller?
Final tally for yesterday..........110 degrees!! Hasn't been that hot for a few years.
I feel like I'm constantly patrolling the thermostat and ceiling outlet over the kitchen sink. (I stuck a lab thermometer up there 30 years ago. If the AC outlet temp goes over 60 degrees.......I switch to crisis mode, and hope my spare parts stash bails me out once more. Not many of my friends have a backup 5 ton compressor in their garage........better investment than leaving 500 bucks in the bank these days.)
We're supposed to get a break today......only forecasted for 101 degrees. Yeah......sure.....
@62vld2042 it was the button under the electric box in the well house (first thing I tried, but didn't know you had to push it really hard) Electric co-op lineman went above and beyond to let me know 240 going into the well box, but only 120 coming out to relay? to the pump, so I told this to the well guy on the phone and he said push the two buttons under the box, I told him I tried that first and he said one of them is tripped, push it harder! Live a learn I guess... We are supposed to hit 105 again today...
It'll be 100 again today here in Ogden, but as long as the humidity stays down around 10% it really isn't so bad if you aren't exercising. I golf only in the early mornings; done by 10:30 when it's still only 85 or so. Ditto for fishing.
It is VERY easy to get dehydrated here. Sweat evaporates instantly, so you may not be aware that you are losing all that water.
Did you get your control box problem squared away?
If there are any electrical part or circuit board problems, I may be able to help. Just give me a holler.
In respect to the OP:
It was so hot today...the...
trees are calling dogs over to lift their legs.
@62vld2042 we are "well" beyond the electrical box, pun intended. The first company tried to pull the pipe and pump and broke it almost immediately... they wanted to drill new well, Got ahold of some friends that have connections and the second company has pulled about 360 feet of the pipe and hopefully will get new pump installed and working today, fingers crossed, been 5 1/2 days with no well and 105 degrees or better each day...
Ouch!!!!
Hope things work out better for ya......and quickly!!
can almost smell you in West Virginia............
