Pure hogwash.
Been saying it for years. What silliness happens in California it'll spread to other states. Now the silly part. The article mentions California has had "decrease" in gun violence but I think they stopped counting unless it fits their agenda. Also there ain't much "Crack" out on the streets like there was in the '80s. And running the makers of "Saturday Night Specials" didn't do squat for the "gun violence". Private Sales Loophole? I always thought in California we had to go through the FFL to keep sales legal?
Also if newsom is trying to take the credit this happened way before he came along.

There is no such thing as "gun violence", just violent (sub-)humans, whom might have used a firearm--along with using a motor vehicle, a knife, and other "aids" to violence--in the commission of crimes.
