Credit Card Company and ATF

hoosierhoosier Member Posts: 1,596 ✭✭✭✭

So got an Email from my Credit Card Company. thru the larger World Pay system

I am a FFL dealer.

Seems since I sell Firearms and parts and have to show Compliance with the new Nics and AFT regulation about Receivers, frames, and marked parts kits. National Firearms Act and ATF Regulations (27 CFR parts, 447,478, 479)

I have to fill out 2 forms , and then type out letter as to how I go about the normal businesses of selling a firearm to individuals and dealers. Verifying ID and Dealer Licenses.

Have to have this in by 8/24/22. they will evaluate and let me know if I am within the perimeters.

Called in to ATF , on one question. ATF is wanting dealers to move away from accepting firearms direct sent from individuals ( transfer) and want these to go only thru a FFL dealer.

More Bank and AFT control.

IMHO, just harassments by the ATF. All of above is what is expected from FFLs, that is follow the laws.

Not accept from individuals, yea, well it's not like you don't know where it came from. More paperwork for FFL's more BS from the ATF and credit cards clowns.😖

I don't know if it's possible, but is there a gun friendly CC company that you can use?

WTH would be the difference between an FFL accepting a gun shipped from an individual, or an individual bringing a gun into an FFL to have them ship it? Either way an FFL is accepting a firearm from an individual. If that's the case, then the used gun market will suffer greatly.

That's what "they" want. Here in Illinois AFTER Prickster and his stooges made it a law to have a STATE FFL also at a cost initially of $1500 I believe and with several other "guidelines" that the current FFL's had to follow about 2/3rds closed shop because of all the straws on the back to be an FFL. Crime is at a all time high now in the state.

World Pay is a clearing house for about 1/2 of the Credit Card companies in the World. Two other local FFlL got the same email from different Credit Card companies after I talked to them.

Major customers include Target, Amazon, Disney, Microsoft, google and more.

I can always pick up the phone a speak direct to my account manager almost any time of the day no on hold. My CC machine is almost out of date.

Yes starting the search for user friendly CC company.

Blue Dog Owned by Fortis a part of World Pay.

Found out why I'm getting the squeeze,

I list Frames and receivers for old shotguns and rifle,s for folks the need to fix grand dads old gun, and the algorithms picked up on that. That why that want me to comply with the new Ghost Gun "frames and receivers" regulations.
