I took my car hauler in to the Dr. today and had new cables installed on the ramp door. It broke one yrs ago and finally the cable broke on the other one That door must weigh 300 pounds or more to close manually. Now ordering 4 new GoodYear trailer tires. They are the only maker made in the USA. Ask the repair shop to install a winch plate later this yr. Just well go out and gather up some barn finds and drag them home.

More interested now in restoring old classics to keep them on the road since this nonsense of electric is coming around
Seems that my life has run in cycles. Started collecting and restoring antique furniture. Then moved on to cars. Then to very old Kentucky longrifles.
The old rifles stuck with me and the cycles stopped some 20+ years ago.
Sadly there will eventually come a time when no gasoline type engines will be allowed on the road. Except maybe special events like a parade or a show but then you'll have to purchase a pass or a sticker etc. The old classics are headed to the museums someday in the future. You'll see them next to the Stanley Steamers.
. not for at least 20 yrs or more.
