Well, that's a wrap.
"Go away! I have a gun."
What a stupid young man. He had to be stoned on meth.
Ex-boyfriends can be a problem.
DRT... I love a happy ending
With a strong verbal warning why wait until your shot before trying to leave 🤔........that I never could figure out. Oh well at least he didn't bleed on the carpet 😀

I always said that if anyone messed with my daughter, the body would never be found. I guess the idiot kept the Dad from hunting him down by showing up at the door.
thanks I was going to post it but got beat, no problem LOL
I say good for him ( the dad ) and his daughter . once the ex BF was warned but knocked in the door and broke the lock all bets are off .
I feel bad the family will have to deal with the event but what the dad did is a lot better than being dead .
" Sidney " is the town I grew up in and we still live 12 miles from it . it has at least tripled maybe even 4x the size since I was a kid but its still a small town . what happened was super rare in the town ,
making the local news was obvious however I was surprised to see it on the national headlines .
here in Ohio we have the castle law the right to protect your self which the entire USA should be .
our governor got a lot of back lash over signing the bill into law but it was a long time coming one of the few things he did get right
I got a laugh out of some of the stories on the internet as they spelled Sidney as Sydney
most all you have witnessed,😁 I am no one to poke fun of any ones spelling
My brother moved to a “small-town” and was just setting down to watch some tv and a guy tries to open his front door... somehow he had locked it when normally it would be unlocked. The guy then walks around and starts trying to open windows and actually opened the bathroom window and my brother is standing there with his Glock and says.. stop , don’t come in here, I have a gun... well the meth head says well so do I! And proceeded to pull down the blinds and somehow got discouraged and retreated to his car in the road. The sherif finally showed up and the guy was a frequent flyer known to the law.
It was a random , random thing but luckily it didn’t result in gunfire
nowhere is immune anymore
when I lived in the town there was a few people killed I even remember one was a sister of a friend of mine I don't think they ever found out who killed her or why , found her just out side town in a ditch I heard guesses but that s all . but was super rare for any one to be killed for any reason back then .
most I knew were self-inflected gun shots over health I can understand , but sadder over a boy friend or girl friend when they were not even out of the teen years some still in high school . I think of them and how sad to throw away your life
but that's basically what the BF did on this day maybe his emotions from loosing her . maybe drugs but he chose to play stupid games
"stop , don’t come in here, I have a gun... well the meth head says well so do I! "
Gee, how did I guess the OP was a meth head?
We used to have an epidemic of meth around here. Hillbillies made it from Sudafed. Then, in the one case in which the War on Drugs actually worked, the Legislature made Sudafed prescription. You could buy only one package per month. In three weeks time, the meth epidemic stopped.
Not the case with a good friend. She shot a man who literally broke the door down in the middle of the night. One shot out of a .357 and he was morgue bound.
If you've got a firearm for protecting your family and self from death......use it, one warning is enough, don't hesitate, hesitating can be deadly. Let it be known this is Just my personal opinion.

Here is the uncensored video.
Stupid kid. Definitely on something.
I've made quite a few trips down I75 from Michigan to around Sidney in the past. Grandparents lived near Findlay and other relatives lived south of there. Also the Grand American trapshoot in Dayton, but they moved that 10+ years or so ago. You can tell who is visiting by how they pronounce Lima. I guess it just proves the rest of the world doesn't know how to talk or spell.😁
Not many relatives left there now except for some distant cousins, so I don't get there much anymore. Well, maybe occasionally I go to Findlay. After all it is the home of Jaqua's Fine Guns, which all shot gunners should visit at least once. Bob
Curious me ask, what's that got to do with the shooting of the intruder ??

🤔Sorry about that. Ditch-runners post got me reminiscing. Guess I never got around to saying that in all my trips to that area over the last 60+ years that I have seen that area grow and change a lot. It still doesn't exactly rank very high on my list of places that I would have expected to see that happen. It goes to show that no matter where you live, it is best to be prepared to not be a victim. The girls dad did the right thing in being prepared and actually following through. Bob
I would like to have a dollar for every post that strays a bit from topic on here it does not take much to kick in old memories and side track us
I'm heartbroken. I'm sure he would have been a great son-in-law.
Ha! You tube has pulled the video. I'm sure most of y'all got to see it, kid got one in the chest, one in the side, and one in the back at close range.
