Yesterday was a high of 95° here at our house. We are about 18-20 crow miles from the ocean. Last night about 7:00 pm marine overcast started moving in. This morning @ 04:30 it was 55° outside. At 4:00 pm we had a high of 65° with a 300-500 foot sky with marine gray overcast all day. Currently 62° @ 7:30 PM PDT. Hard to get acclimated to those temperature swings.

We got the 95 degrees today,,,
It's only been under 90 maybe two or three times in the last two months here in Western Montana. Nice thing is that it cools down pretty fast come sun down, and we wake up in the upper 40's. The cool evenings, along with the crickets make it pretty darn nice. There are a few houses/land for sale close to us Randy, come on over.
It was 99 degrees in Silverdale this afternoon.
Y-BLOCK, you in Silverdale, Washington? I had cousins who lived there. Nice area.
86 here in the desert.
So far this summer, in North Texas, we've had 60 days of 100 degrees or higher.........hopefully it's over for this year. (BTW......our record was in 1980.....at 100 days.)
Heck.......one day the overnight LOW was 89 degrees.
Whew!!!!!!
We hit 100 yesterday afternoon.
65 now.

The weather has been very odd. Been a rough year in the garden. we had a 30 degree swing in 24hr period here in the Puyallup / Graham area once and that was wild.
We had a wild thunderstorm here in N Idaho a couple of weeks back. 60+ Mph wind, horizontal rain, horizontal 1/2"+ hail.
I was driving home and it was 95° when I entered it, and 20 minutes later when I exited the storm, it was 65°. Warmed back up to around 80° before the sun set on a clear blue sky some 3 hours later.

90°-100° the last few weeks over here in Yakima. 102° tomorrow but by next week it starts going to the 80°’s.
I hope you didn't suffer too much loss from that hailstorm. It was nasty. Just over the hill from you, where my place is (for another 11 days) we didn't have any hail at all.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
91 here right now. I'm not crazy about the heat, but I think the smoke is bothering me more.
No sir, I live in Crosby (Seabeck area). We moved from the big city (Port Orchard) just over 8 years ago.
Liberty Lake was hit hard. Have a friend who had 30+ holes in a brand new vinyl fence where the hail was blown straight through it. $20,000 damage to fence and house.
