...Wow, good song...Grace Slick is like 80 something now!...shes getting close to Dons age...😁
That was just wonderful. The biggest pop group in America. All the band guys were so groovy, they had long hair so they must be real cool!
Urging all the teenagers in America to take lots of dope. What could go wrong?
Now they just play "Clocks" on Muzak in the store.

My very favorite hit from Jefferson Airplane....

And we did, didn't we?
It appears that quite a few did not.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
In fact I was a big fan of Jefferson Airplane. Saw them in concert at the Atlanta Civic Center in 1970. At every break, the kids were yelling out, "Sing White Rabbit! Play White Rabbit!!"
A half hour into the show, Grace Slick got on the mike and said "Shut the f* up about White Rabbit." And they never did play it.
Here is a beautiful song by them at Monterey Pop in 1967. "Today."
Raining here , lightening , thunder, nice break from the heat .....South Fort Worth.
Hmm, I suppose they've been doing that for a long time, with TFF's "Head Over Heels" or Sugar Ray's "I Just Wanna Fly." I think the line "put your arms around me baby" is actually about a heroin high coming on.
I think she changed lyrics just about every time she sang that song.
That is the forth rendition I have seen with different words, evan in the solo she sang without the band or music.

yours is no disgrace by yes
Some of those Yes lyrics are creepier than I remember.
