I was at 98.7 most of the day............
been reasonably cool here on the gulf coast for a couple of weeks, mostly thanks to copious amounts of rain. ill take it, the last half of august was actually tolerable.
Agree MJ, it was a nice day today in the Bitterroot Valley, about 77 or so, way down from the upper 90's of the last month. Should have about 35,000 sq.feet of grass seed put to bed by tomorrow afternoon, been a busy, busy week.
High 80's-low 90's today in north MO. I had a tough day Thursday and had to go a bit easy today. Hoping to have cooler temps tomorrow so I can catch up a bit. Weather guesser indicated cooler weather coming on.
Still hitting the low to mid 80's here, but the nights are cooling into the low 60's instead of remaining in the 70's. Fall and harvest time are coming !!
Calling for near record low tonight of 32
My nephew was doing a job down by Big Sky. He said it was 32 this morning.
First time in many years that we didn’t get at least one frost in August here SE Idaho.
And still haven’t, yet.

We hit a whopping 62 yesterday and it's 34 now at 5 AM. I don't think my 'maters are gonna get to ripen up this year. I might have to try the fried green tomato thing.
Edit; Now at 6 AM we've hit 32.
Just you wait.....global cooling is coming soon.......then after a few months, global warming will be here AGAIN!
I am enjoying this cooler weather for sure! Been a hot dry summer. Lately it has been cool and wet. Hopefully replinishing the water we missed this summer.
After an all-time record of 107 in Salt Lake City earlier this week, a cool front brought sunrise temps from 83 down to 55 here. The downside is that the front brought with it a LOT of smoke from the PNW wildfires.
We had 28 days of 100+ temps in Utah this year, including the entire first week of Sept, which had never happened. The average is five.
Some of our reservoirs are so low that the state has barricaded boat ramps to keep people from trying to launch and getting stuck. The state pulled their police/search/tow boats and there's no way to rescue people now.
Wife spoke with her sister in Sheridan MT this morning and they have had frost there in the Ruby valley two mornings running.
36 here at daybreak today.
Should entice the bulls to start whistling.

Right at freezing here this am.
I predict by December it will be even cooler. You heard it here first.
Best be careful, He Dog! They'll be changing your handle to 'Kreskin'!
