Been having a few mild days and cool nights. Took a turn this week and headed to a high of 95ish this upcoming week, then a plunge. I'm hoping this is the last of the heat spikes.

It looks like Global Warming. Oops, I meant it looks like Climate Change.
Hope you are right, I've had enough of 100 plus days in Texas this year...
Same here in SC this week. We are most likely headed to cooler northern climate next yr with another home...
Supposed to of had some thunderstorms today. Felt a couple drops and that was it. My fields are crispy.
yes ma'am hopefully this is our last really hot week for a while
Yeah, I had already stowed my sprinklers away, and it quit raining and the temps went up. I got my food plots disced up and then--no rain, they look like the Sahara now.
Don't worry, the WEEDS will grow without water! It amazes me how everything I plant is WAY outpaced by the weeds, even if I round up first. I just switched to corn, feed, and mineral blocks. 😁😎
Yeah austin20, I've already tried that, washed and waxed the wife's ride and my PU. Hasn't worked yet.
From the Texas Cross-Timbers area......
Saturday was 99 degrees, Sunday 99 degrees, and yesterday was 100 degrees.....a record for the date.
Man!!!!!......this is getting old!!!......now 61 days of 100 degrees or higher.
Weather man says it will start to cool off beginning...................next Sunday!!!!!
Lakes are at about 68% combined...........and dropping 1% a week.
Back in the "bad times" we got down to 18%.........and the water department said they could NOT reach the last 10%. That's when we "invented" potty water.
Yeah..........we're ready for Winter!!!!!!
My home weather "guesser" is reading 101 right now. Supposed to get some relief this weekend.
Central Texas has been pretty rough too..............we NEED winter.
Two 98 degree days in a row....suppose to drop off to the 70's on Thursday... It is Archery season so if it ever cools off I might be able to get out there !!
yeah its hard to get into hunting when you are sweating before you even gut and drag it...........
still upper 90's in North Texas, supposed to drop into the 80's next week...
Tuesday 100 degrees, Wednesday 100 degrees........today mid 90's.......I hope!!!!
still over 100 here.............so much for fall
Even worse…a smelly sweatball just getting to the stand all while being chewed on by skeeters
