We see Eagles often in the Spring and Fall, but rarely this time of year.....

So awesome.. I have only actually seen three in the wild..
Beautiful eagle........hard to pick, between it and a Golden Eagle.
BTW.........he wouldn't happen to be scoping out some "food" in your backyard.......would he?? 😉
COOL............where do you live?
Yeah....ummm there might be a little bit of armadillo up the fence row somewhere....🙄
Central MO....
Very few bald eagles around here, but they are BIG and beautiful. Cool pic!
They are common around here, but I never get tired of seeing them. Your picture captured the true beauty.
You, my friend, need to take a trip to coastal Alaska. Ketchikan or somewhere near there. LOTS of baldies.
We see them frequently fishing near the lake shore. A few days ago one caught a fish too large for him to fly off with it. So it held the fish with one set of talons, used the other leg and both wings to wade & row to shore with it.
I really enjoy your pictures, you Sir are a lucky man.
Seen a Big Bald one almost get my Manx cat few years ago. If I had not jumped up and waved my arms the kitty would probably be gone. The Eagle was already coming (silently soaring in) with his feet/claws dropped down, yellow eyes squinched almost closed and zeroed in for the snatch.
We lived next to a lake.
I've seen them grab ducks out of the water and fight coyotes off a dead deer out on the ice.
Both Bald and Golden hanged out in the winter time at the lake.
I used to see them near the dump in Orlando Fl. Haven't been there for years. They are pretty.
