Kalifornia does What?

Our daughter is visiting from Colorado. She is a disabled Vet with 25 years in the Air Force. We inquired about a non resident fishing license. $145.80. BUT, Ca. honors all disabled vets no matter their resident state. I couldn't believe it. So, after doing minimal paper work, one phone call and an application on the computer she was issued a yearly non resident tag for the paltry sum of $8.64. Again, I was shocked that Ca. would do this. Yeah, the truck is loaded and ready to go. I might even let the Colonel outfish 'ol Dad!

Nice, hope you folks have a grand time!
Thank you my friend. When she was younger she wanted to be a log truck driver like you and me. It was good for us, but I'm glad we talked her out of it. Be safe, Eddie

Kind a late for King Salmon and a bit early for Dungeness Crab. So what are you after?
I'm in disbelief too. But good deal for that. I hope y'all have a blast (but no blasts in the water mind you).
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
SHHHHHHhhhhhh! Dont let the DEMOCRATs find out.
We live in Susanville, 6,000 feet. no crabs or abalones up here. We fish Antelope, Eagle, Almanor and all the lil streams in between. We knocked 'em silly today, so much so that we are going back tomorrow. Daughter is only here for a few more days so we gotta send her back to Co. with a winters supply. BTW, my wife missed a bear last week. And I made venison jerky for the grand daughter the other day. Stay safe in the big city and always carry at least one reload.
Nonresident hunting in Missouri last I hunted there, was $195. If you are out of state, they don't want you. Is that so hard to believe?
Abalones closed until 2025?
So trout of some sort.
I think that's the best thing I've heard about California in decades, who would've thought that with all the wild animal lovers there.

I kan't believe that Kalifornia even has this position...........
I am declaring this FAKE NEWS..................lol
Last time I hunted Missouri, I think it cost me 110.00 for an out of state license. Friendliest people I ever met. Hunted a far for the first few day, then went into the game lands. I met a conservation officer and he told me of a few good spot. They actually have food plots to draw the deer in for hunters. Saw a ton of good deer, but not the one I wanted to harvest. We hunted in the Northwest part of the state, in a town called Bethel. They actually have two Bethel Missouri's, on the opposite sides of the state . I hope to go back there someday.
P.O., I don't lie. Look it up.
A Colonel? Wow!
Good luck on the fishing- hope she gets her $8 worth!
Thank you for your good wishes. We have gone out twice now and have caught some nice ones. We will probably go again one more time. Then we will have to wait until next year. I still cannot believe Ca. does this for vets. And since she is on file she is qualified for life. Ma and me like to say we dint raise no sissies, two of our grand daughters are cops. One is a Sergeant and the other a K-9 officer in Nevada. Thanks again, Ed

There are a lot of vets/military bases in Ca.
