I guess if you were a midget going to a BBQ that gun would suffice. Not my cup, but hey, it's ok by me.
Not mine either Walt, just different from most things that go bang.
The closest thing I have to that is a High Standard Derringer in .22 WRM...........it's two shot over under.........bought it in about '94 from an ex-cop coworker for $15.
I would never pay $500 for a mouse gun..............although that is about what mine is worth now...........lol
Totally worthless, if you want to die, pull that sucker out for defense and see just how well you spent your $500.

Apparently you've never shot an animal with a 22 mag! That is a deadly round! Shot placement is key. That gun is made for extremely close combat!
It's NOT worth $500+, but it is also not useless.
I'd rather not bid on that one.
I have taken out many big Texas jack rabbits with a Marlin 57 in 22 Mag and it really puts them down.
Seen far to many run off after hits with 22LR.
better than nothing
I was using a rifle, so more velocity BUT I have killed several wild hogs with my 22 mag. From head shots to heart shots(up to 250 lbs), it killed em all. 22 mag 8s a VERY deadly round. Is it the best for self defense...no...but it is adequate
I think Hornady and Speer both make rounds meant for 2 inch barrels. Still kind of anemic since they only have about half the energy of a .380. Better than nothing but not my first choice by any means. Bob
One doesn't live on a farm and never have shot an animal with a .22 mag. I have, more times than the average bear but never would I take a shot with that firearm. I still say that for $500 that is a waste of money for a defensive weapon, one would be better off with a tire knocker if walking a dangerous area expecting a dangerous encounter with anything or anyone.
