Looks like it's happening in other place too! Might effect food supplies.

We sure don't have that problem here in Florida, every single river in the state has crested.
I can see it right here. I am looking down on the French Broad River from my porch. It is a big river. It is very, very low. It flows into the Tennessee River, which flows into the Ohio, which goes to Cairo Illinois and flows into the Mississippi.
The problem starts here in North Carolina.
I think a lot of rivers are drying up like The Rhine and Euphrates River. All the transportation will stop on these rivers if it stays the way it is.

I find it helpful to only worry about things I can change. The weather is not one of those things.
All this has happened many times over the years and will happen again.
The weather alarmists and the news what us to think we are going to die out
And the next time it floods, the crying will go the other way.
" Might effect food supplies."
Maybe that's just what we need before the mid-term elections--a month of empty grocery store shelves.
Yep, a few missed meals just might get people's thinking caps on straight.
Moron's gonna blame "global warming" even if the hurricane fills all the rivers. With 10% inflation, fertilizer shortage and no water to grow foods it's a perfect storm for food riots. Better start keeping an extra eye out for black dogs. I heard they're the tastiest.
You left out a 28% Natural gas price increase this winter. Thanks to The Ukraine war. Diesel is over 1.50 more a gallon than gasoline? I bet NATO is hoarding it by now, Of course Congress is inept and can only increase the national Debt to buy votes! Oh you left out The Nuclear Threat from weapons and well as Power plants too!

Sad to see Lake Mead
I guess that if you look at the bright side, they sure are finding a lot of missing dead bodies and quite a few archeological artifacts. 😐️
I'm good...........plenty of water and food stores to last my single personage for 9 months to a year if I couldn't buy anything tomorrow.
The media loves to find new things to panic over.
We are being groomed by those that would rule us.
The record heatwave this summer was headline news on and in every major outlet.
The record cold wave now hitting much of the country is simply weather.
It does not take a climate surgeon to figure out this disparity.

I know right? Imagine it being hot in summer and cold in the winter. These folks think we forget that seasons bring changes to the weather like we were just born yesterday.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
I was born and raised at the mouth of the French Broad River where it meets the Holston River and forms the Tennessee River. MY Great Grandpa bought the forks of the river at the turn of the 20th century and we lived there until a mining company came along and kept making my Dad offers on the land until he couldn't turn down the money and sold it. I sure miss my days on those rivers. I was fishing or messing around with my boats and motors at my Grandpa's Three Rivers Boat Dock there all though the 50's, thru the 80's and my oldest son and daughters had the good luck to grow up there also. A kid couldn't have had a better place to be. Those were great times. My wife grew up just down the Tennessee River from where I lived also.
Nothing like home is it?, But Mark Twain's book on Tom sawyer is a banned book in schools now! History Literature is no longer allowed but Lady boys are?

Just remember when the weather man was just a mundane person doing his best to let us know what the day had in store for us. All of a sudden he is a celebrity with more drama than an old war movie!!
and those weather gals!! Wooeeee!! A high slit dress and cleavage makes one forget to check the temps!
for sure this has crimped California's plan to pipeline water in from the Miss.
