It is usually pretty quiet around our place. Yesterday was an exception.... Combine rolling though the beans, trucks moving the Soybeans to the Co-OP, tractors and wagons up and down the field filling the trucks and going back and forth to the neighbor's place.
On the other side of the place, there was a skid steer loading hay on a flatbed trailer going to three Amish neighbors in our area.
It was a good day !!!! Today should be a little more laid back finishing off the beans......

Cool.
It is a cold rainy day here. It's coming.
Suppose to rain here early next week so the rush is on to finish the beans !
Well our temps went up again and some rain is expected in the next few days,, so for now I haven't cut any hay, not expecting much when i do, but that is ok I guess since I don't have any hay eaters currently gonna get a steer for beef soon though... glad your beans came in Frank nice pics as always, hang in there and give Martha the snake killer a scratch from north Texas.
And now begins the Japanese beetle invasion...
Bless all our farmers for all they do.
It was a hot, dry summer....there have been very few sighted this year. Hopefully we will be spared the invasion this year all together !
Yupper, it's payday on the farm. We may have 4-5 acres of late planted soybeans left to harvest. The rest are either sold or in the bin.
Busy is an understatement. Even though no field work was accomplished today, we were busy ALL DAY. Moving equipment and putting it in the shed. Finishing some details following burying a new electric circuit to one shed. Moving livestock that had run short on pasture. Spraying a perimeter around some new row crop fields.
Nothing runs like a Deere.
OR
Nothing has buns like a rear.
Finally raining out right now in SW MO. I cut the lawn 3 times all summer / fall. I figure 1 more cut to move the leaves into the woods.
Raining here now too........got the last of the beans out last night..
Good and Good.
It has finally made it to the SE side of MO. Hallelujah. I was worried it would track north and miss us. #2 and #3 live in northwest Arkansas. Been raining there for two days. They needed it as well.
