Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
We had the same "Remote Control," back then, as all of you. "Get up and change the channel Son." (Or better yet,) "Stand there and hold on to the antennae so I can watch this." (After spending a long time moving it around to facilitate that.) Remember someone on the roof, moving the antennae around, while yelling back and forth to the person in the house? 🤔😉😂
Remember when TV would "Sign Off," with the Star Spangled Banner and then go to the test pattern?
You don't know how truthful those statements are when I was a kid. Loved the sign off, then it was time to call it a night.

The Lone Ranger started in 1949........you can tell from the acting that ol' Clayton Moore was pretty green. A young DeForest Kelly.......("Bones" from Star Trek)......was in the fourth episode.
The best remote control line from my younger uncle was......."While you're up........".
