A Quarter of Americans at Risk of Winter Power Blackouts, Grid Emergencies
Just not Europe! Looks like it's coming to The USA.They forgot to warn us here,

Large swaths of North America may face blackouts and other energy emergencies during bouts of extreme cold this winter as coal and natural gas supplies tighten, according to a US regulatory agency.

Thank God above I have free natural gas heating my home and a generator able to power it all. It too runs on free natural gas or propane, I have had 500 gallons of propane for over three years that seldom gets used.
Well, like my wife tells her mom, it matters how you vote.....
Where do you live I may need to move in 😏 Just joking but you need to stop advertising your goods or stash on public forums. If they get cold enough they will come a lookin bet on it.

I think Serf's post is spot on.
What better way to control the masses.
Keep the demo cities lights on and let us deplorables do with out.
Amish rule!
I just wish we'd see names like Benjamin Yoder or Amos Lapp on the ballots running for high office positions!!
Long term risks are here to stay is what they are really saying here! Six feet of snow in N.Y. and climate change is the cause?

Leaders will never tell us that the world has an energy shortage. Instead, leaders will tell us how awful fossil fuels are, so that we will be happy that the economy is losing their usage. They will never tell us how worthless intermittent wind and solar are for solving today’s energy problems. Instead, they will lead us to believe that a transition to vehicles powered by electricity and batteries is just around the corner. They will tell us that the world’s worst problem is climate change, and that by working together, we can move away from fossil fuels.
Again, the whole situation reminds me of Aesop’s Fables. The system puts a “good spin” on whatever frightening changes are happening. This way, leaders can convince their citizens that everything is fine when, in fact, it is not.
I can only hope the people who voted Biden & the DEMOCRATs feel the pain the most. They were warned of the consequences.
While they forge ahead with removing hydro-electric dams and demolishing coal fired power plants. The US had a reliable infrastructure of energy supply, and it is throwing it away on knee jerk reactions to 'climate change' hysteria.
The democratic hypocrisy is astounding- Obama's estates in Marthas Vineyard and on the coast in Hawaii speaks volumes about his lack of fear in ocean rise and his three 2500-gallon propane tanks at the Marthas Vineyard estate is not filled with 'green agenda', but good old-fashioned LPG.
I am not all that worried. There are thousands of houses like mine in the land of the toothless hillbillies where I live. Free gas is actually pretty common around here. besides that I live way out in the boonies, how are they going to get here, walk in the freezing rain and snow? Although I lost all my guns in a canoe accident my trusty bow and arrow still works. 😉
That must have been a big canoe😁
After the Nov 2 fire at my homestead, the first replacement purchase was a new Ranger and the second was a new portable generator which will be delivered tomorrow. We lost both the 6K generator and the little 2.5K generator but only replacing the small one right away. The bigger one can wait until more decisions are made as to rebuilding those structures lost in the fire.
We've had auxiliary generators for over 25 years saving us thousands of dollars in lost freezer contents over the years. Certainly a sound investment.
Let em' freeze.. they voted for it..
People cannot pay for heating cost too! More welfare is needed! I guess that windfall Taxed on oil companies will help pay for it?

‘It’s like living in an igloo.’ People are turning off their heat as prices surge

The funds for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, known as LIHEAP, stem from regular appropriations by Congress, additional emergency funding lawmakers included in September’s continuing resolution and $100 million from the bipartisan infrastructure law that passed last year, according to the Department of Health and Human Services.
A big tippy canoe.
