Nice...I have shot a similar pump version (Mossburg Shockwave) and it handled just fine for me. I bet the Semi-auto will make it even better !
After we by a new place it will work nice on the atv.
Nice
So how does a legal 13" shotgun vs. a minimum legal length of 18" compute?!
It's a "pistol".
My guess is one day they won't.
Put that down! It's not a toy!
So, is no one going to make a glovebox joke?
I think those are neat, but I think I would shoot it a few times and then it would sit in the safe. What are the rules about putting a brace on that?
Actually it is designated as a "firearm"
I'd hate to have to spend $20 thousand on a lawyer to get me out of a legal mess in court whether legal or not. I'll just keep my 18 1/2" barrel & stocked home defender, it works well enough.

They are a firearm, not a pistol or shotgun. They were not made to be fired from the shoulder and must have a minimum length of 26" per ATF regulations. Attach a shoulder stock or change the grip that shortens the overall length to less than 26" and you have a problem.
All these gun rules make perfect sense. As long as one knows absolutely nothing about firearms.
I'd like to see someone walk into a Bank with that legal "firearm" strapped to their hip and see what happens......😀

The firearm is legal. Period. If and when someday it isn't then a simple 200 tax stamp will make it legal. BTW I have a 870 extended mag 18" with a ported Police barrel. A brace is legal to install on the Tac 13 it as long as it is not shouldered. And if braces are outlawed on it , they will be outlawed on all firearms.
Walk into any bank with any gun strapped to your hip and see what happens.
Not for me, but curious on how it will work on "the atv"? Are you so overcome by something that you need that kind of fire power? Not judging your choice, since it's your's, but just curious about it's intended use.
Aren't there grizzlies in South Carolina?
Oh wait, that's our backyard!

Those are cool but not for me.
Actually "pistol grip firearm" is the correct designation.
My wrist wouldn't take that.
Congrats on the new gun always good to get a new toy
I thought about one but look at what BATF is now doing with pistol braced AR pistols or 80 % kits all were just great and ok until good old Joe and his handlers told that ATF get em boys
I have a rem 870 12 ga 20" barrel with a fatory folder I keep handy with a extended mag tube
I had a 18 1/2 factory barrel on it but the market prices got crazy I sold the shorter barrel
The 1 1/2 was not the big of a loss and also takes away that fight over short barrel
Let us know how you like it
Each to their own on weapons they use.
Reminds me more of a hand held claymore mine. When using buckshot in only a 13 inch barrel, velocity I’m sure will fall off. I never shot one before but would be interested in hearing about results of tests you may conduct later on.
Velocity will fall off but not that noticeable. An up and close weapon still shoots hard. One can up the anti by using higher velocity slugs or buckshot or even the reduced slugs and buckshot would be adequate
