Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes

Just curious-Who is the Mfg. of the pole barn?
My wife's cousin used to build them for a living. He is helping me.

congrats
you know no matter how big you build a pole barn or garage its always 1/2 what you need 😁
Oh, I know. I have been arguing about it's size with my smarter half. She's of the opinion it didn't need to be quite this big. I thought it coulda been double.

Looking good @Mr. Perfect! My only thoughts are about building in the cold weather. I get the chills just thinking about such a job. Just old age along with memories of close encounters with frostbite for me.
It won't be large enough to put everything in or items in the future.
When it comes to pole barns bigger is better. If you think a 30x40 will do, build a 40x60. When you live in the country seems there is never enough storage room. LOL
true-ism; the amout of 'junk' you have will expand to fill the space available +25%
A neighbor had a lot of expensive Kubota accessories just laying around in his field for a very long time. I saw last year he was putting up a pole barn. Even with the barn finished some 6\7 months ago, those accessories are still just sitting out in the field!
I've read this before, the famous "Wiskey Theorom". Much truth.
Walking through the snow to get to the shop, priceless. Shoulda been an add-on.
I don’t envy you building in the winter.
Been there, done that only I had to tear one down and move it to the other corner of my 20 acres. Did it all by myself. Not fun at 72 yrs. old! Had help with the slab but the rest was on me! Tore it down during the summer and poured the slab after setting the posts during thanksgiving week.
Are ya braggin or complain? Tuff 'ol bird you are.
Maybe a little of both. As stated before, 30x40 wasn’t big enuff. Had to add on an enclosed lean to on the back.
I still don't have a pole barn. Probably a good thing as I would be tempted to fill it with a car collection...
