Well, I think we've gotten 16 inches of the white stuff so far today. It's still coming down too. We may have 2 feet of it before the day is over. Of course that's on top of the 6 inches we had on the ground starting out this morning. Yikes! Picture below:
See!

White out
No, I don't. Don
guess you don't pee off the porch......
Bless all of you hearty souls in the great frozen north.
Maybe that's white privilege.
Great picture. Almost a good as William.
Are you measuring or the wife? cause there could be a lot of difference in the inches, hard to tell from the picture...
Well, sir, take a gander.

16 inches total here too. 24 mi. South of Kettle Falls.
Ain't no see to it, it's all dry land.
Just who was it that sold the most records Of "Let It Snow, Let It snow, Let It snow"?
Dry? I think you've got a lesson or two to learn about snow.

You fellas to my west are hoggin' all of it. We've only had about 10" in the last 24 hours, but it is still comin' down.
I may or may not have gotten the quad stuck. I may have to break down and get some chains.😬

Everything will be all better about April.
You, my friend, need a Kubota (or similar) with a cab and a front mounted snow blower. I ran ours down the lane yesterday for the first time this year. Toasty warm in the cab and snow flyin' 40' away from the road. Plows are great when you have somewhere to put the snow, but you can run out of space real quick when it gets that deep.
This is my wife running ours last winter.
I gotta get my studded snow tires installed.
Yeah, that would be nice. Turns out I'm going to have a rough go scraping up funds to get a set of chains. So, that's pretty far out of the question at this point.

We have not got any new additional snow. Please keep it for awhile longer.
I have the Kubota BX with the 55" snow blower out front and a salt spreader mounted on the back. No cab over, just bundle up warm and enjoy all that fresh COLD air!
Once you get a cab on your tractor, you will never go back to the open air, Ask my older one that hasn't moved for 4 years...😁
Forecast to get snow here tonight. Have a great neighbor who'll blow my driveway while I'm laid up with the trifecta of leg pain.
(My MRI revealed that I have a bulged disc L4-L5 pressing the sciatic. Surgery likely. That atop the hip arthritis and badly banged shin.)
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas, though I won't be coming by...
Looking south from the courtyard in the new place, Mr. P.
We have about a foot on the ground, but the rain/snow mix makes for a lot of shoveling.

....And it's not even Winter, yet.
That thought crossed my mind.

Rocky, I'm glad to see you feeling good enough to be posting!!
Some pics out the back window this morning. We actually had clear skies for a bit.
The last two show my shooting lane (target at berm).

Snow is kind of rare here in SW Missouri. We get it a 2 to 3 times a winter and it's usually gone either the same day or less than a week. I told the guys in my Off Road Club to plan on a trail ride if it snows. I led 2 snowy trail rides last winter w/ my Toyota 4Runner.
Our 1st snow this year was on opening day of Rifle Deer Season. No trail rides that day.
I agree I have the same set up minus the cab.
I use my tractor on my tree farm and I am constantly in the woods and a cab restricts me too much in the woods.
i have very good high vis insulated and water proof pants and jacket and I am never cold. The only bad days are when the wind is really blowing and then I wear ski googles and a face shield to not get snow blown in my face.
We have had about 2 inches this winter
I am good with that
We don't need any more snow lol
..nother storm coming in tonight
