Didn't even remember what brand it was. Has 5 rounds through it and went in the safe.
Turns out it is a Ruger AR 556 topped off with a SIG Romeo 4S.
I gotta go shooting.

I have to do my bi / tri / annual wipe down and inspection soon pull the gun out of the safe 🙄 and do a quick inspection and wipe down of the metal surfaces.

I really need to do an AR15 sight in day. I think I have 5 or 6 of the things. 2 are sighted in.
Trigger warning.

Have 5 or 6 of the things.
I see a whole bunch of FBIATFELBGTQSWAT snowflakes melting down and drawing up response scenarios.

AR's are like LAYS potato chips--you can't have just ONE. I have maybe 1/2 dozen that are in constant or occasional use status. With the MO 'alternative methods deer season' approaching, last night I spent so quality time looking for my AR 'pistols' that fit the criteria. Finally found both--a .223 Adams Arms piston 10.5" and YHM mount and 6.8 SPS 11" w/ and ARP 3R twist and Rugged mount. Also discovered a 7.62x39 with an ARP barrel and KAK blast can(gotta wear muffs for that one) already zeroed with Hornady SST hunting ammo.
I've got one of those Joe, with an AIM sport optic that I haven't tried it out yet,
Same here, I have a Colt that has 5-10 rounds thru it and a Ruger that has never been shot. I just figured that I should get one while I still could. I just sold 20 magazines to a friend back in Oregon, and still have more than I need.
This discussion got me pulling out a long neglected one from the safe. Just finished going through it and checking it out. Hopefully a warm day next week will see me at the range !
There is no such thing as too many magazines !!!! 😉
I still have 5 or 6, and that should be plenty for me since I haven't shot either one in 6 or more years....
Somewhere in one safe or another is a Rock River varmint with a 6-18x mounted on it. I bought it for high volume p-dog shooting, but it never made it out to S.Dakota. Some of my shooting buddies lost interest and we lost the ranch that we shot on due to them poisoning the p-dog towns. Oh well, maybe one day I'll get back out there, but in the meantime, it isn't costing me anything to keep it in the safe. Bob
I have enough magazines I hate to say that and never thought I would 🙄 but true most will be still sealed in there package when I kick off 😕
I blame it on too many sales and good deals came along . 😉
as for the rifles , well I have parts to put two more together some time this winter and have a "few" some factory various manufactures and some ( think bakers dozen ) I pieced together shopping sales and auctions. I could spend weeks and a lot of ammo $$ just dialing them in most all have scopes just mounted and never fired after the scopes were added .
LOL yep.
Use to have multi layers of home security, neighborhood watch program, SiRi, Alexa, Jane,Mary, ADT. Got too expensive.
Now I post about a gun, and I get 24 hr. security. Drive by checks, park down the street, fly by over head. It's great.
@montanajoe , don't forget your Islamic flag.
Yep,yep. You heard it before too? Couldn't remember exactly how it goes.
Too many magazines??? Already have enough magazines???
