Do You Still Send Christmas Cards?
I still do. My list has shrunk over the years, as many are now gone. I also usually receive just as many as I send. 🙂 (for some strange reason) Figure around 25 or so but there is a couple every year that catch me by surprise by someone sending me a card that is not on my list. I do a quick addition when that happens and the list actually expands a bit. Mostly family with a few friends that I have left.
I buy the cards in bulk after Christmas at good discounts. I have many types, from religious to comical and a lot of what I call "Norman Rockwell" Christmas scenic ones. I used to write some pretty long letter type notes but not so much anymore. I prefer to make a phone call instead these days with the few I haven't connected with in a long while.
Anyway, just curious. Anyone still do Christmas Cards?

Judy still sends out a dozen or so and like you the list loses a few each year and maybe gains a couple of new ones. When I was a kid, Mom must have sent at least 50 or 60 each year and we received about the same. Electronic greetings have taken over, but it just isn't the same. Bob
I send them to loved ones and dear friends.
Yes. Kind of like setting up the Christmas tree. It's all part of the season, look forward to it every year. we will send out more than we receive but that's alright, even send to those that don't send them out hoping it will put a smile on their face. Not to mention we might sip a little rum when making them out.
I have to agree with all of the previous statements. Merry Christmas !!!
Yes, and I write a letter every year.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Nope.
Yes, to dear friends and a few family members.
Yup, but no family letter. I do pull out my red pencil and grade a few.😈
I was a 3rd generation Post Office worker. For this reason, I hated Christmas cards.
Only when I want to enclose gift cards.
Not my department, but I just checked with the warden. She said "no, not for years".
We do pretty much like you stated. As you said our list of cards sent gets smaller each year makes feel even older this time of year.
I do not remember the last one we sent out
I did receive a very nice card from A.Q.H.
From our family to his family and all of your family and friends I wish the best possibe holidays
We were writing cards a few years ago when we learned of a family tragedy. Since then it brings up the bad memory, so we stopped sending them. Now I make "Holiday Calls" to those folks. THANK YOU AQH for the card !
Just a few to few of our dear friends and people who serve us like Tom the pharmacist. And we live in a small town so some are dropped off to save postage.

Yes we do, didn’t you get it?
We don't, but if we did, Gary you'd definitely be on the list.
Thanks for your Disney Generosity a few years back.
No longer part time Florida residents, but still holding some great memories!

Do I need to answer? No I don't.

The world has gone digital. Mail cards at $.60 per stamp…don’t think so. It’s kinda like accepting personal checks.
Those we care about get a nice email with a holiday greeting, well wishes, and a short personalized update on our lives.
Interestingly, we do get a half dozen or so hard cards every year from the same holdouts!
Yes - I send cards - I am an Old School - Old Geezer. And David Nunn of Nunn's Guns accepts my personal checks - and I know that he has shipped a time or two before the check had time to clear.
Best Regards - AQH
Yes, a few.
My little brother, Mailman John, has been the rural carrier here since 1985. This year the Post Office did not want to pay him overtime so they split his 90 mile route in half; his sub runs the other half. Now he's home at 1:30 instead of 3:30. I don't know about cards, but the folks on his route leave him a ton of goodies in their mailboxes. One of the reasons he doesn't retire.
A few. Thats all thats left.
Just yesterday I dropped 70+ of them off at the PO. Thank the good Lord my wife likes doing them! If it was up to me it likely wouldn't happen...
Another thank you to AQH!
Nope
Approximately 60 every year....Friends pass and others take their places..
