Anybody have one and what would you recommend. I would like to have one with at least four cameras that will last and make good pics.
A few previous post from several years ago here, but probably outdated as these camera have really improved recently.

Don't have one, but from what I hear and read, SimpliSafe is pretty good.
I would recommend taking a look at Konnected. You can plug and play into an existing/prewired system or start from scratch and integrate any camera system you choose.
My system was AT&T and they we’re hitting me for $50 a month.
It’s definitely worth a look.
LOREX camera systems. Go straight to their website and browse em. I've had them for years, only 1 camera needed replacing(free under warranty). I have the 2k cable versions(dvr analog). My understanding is that RG5/6 cable has better image quality than cat5(nvr IP) cable.
I would look at the 4k, but the 2k is VERY clear. I can only imagine the 4k systems are better!
This one is only 1 TB storage, about a days worth of constant record. Mine is 2TB.
Dang I just got dogs and firearms... they seem to work ok.
I've had Simplisafe for probably 5 or 6 years now and never had a problem. I don't have the cameras (I have a Blink System for cameras) but if they work as well as the rest of the system, they should be great. What I like about the system if you power goes off the main unit has a battery backup and works off its own Wi Fi. Several times we have forgot to turn the system off and before we get the car shut off their calling us wanting to know if we need the Police. I pay $24.95 monthly.
Wife contracted with ADT. Seems to be working ok . Lots of options to add on , mostly plug and playb.
I agree I have the whole setup with interior and exterior cameras.
I am traveling now and with the App I can watch the front, back, sides and inside of the house.
For about 10 years we had Gretchen (pure Rottweiler) and then Ginger (Australian Shepard/Rottweiler mix). Both were 90 pounds of fury.......if someone arrived unannounced, in the middle of the night(or broad daylight, for that matter). But.........once properly introduced......both would happily gum/lick ya to death.
They're long gone now........but their memory is NEVER far away. 🥲
There sure are a lot of gizmo's that require a smart phone! I tried a smart phone for a spell but only used it to make and receive calls and check on the weather.
